Protecting Bali's waterways with Sungai Watch

More than 80% of plastic pollution in the ocean comes from rivers.
Therefore, we believe one of the simplest ways to clean our ocean is by starting in our rivers, where we can still prevent the flow of plastics. Sungai Watch is an organisation that uses practical barriers to hold plastic waste from going to the ocean. Over the past year Sungai Watch has been testing, designing and deploying more than 100 barriers using the island of Bali as our test lab.
